(C) THREE PRE-WAR COLT NEW SERVICE DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVERS

Lot consists of (A) U.S. Navy Stamped Model 1909. Rare revolver, one of a thousand shipped to the US Navy. .45 Colt caliber with 5 1/2". Butt is stamped USN with anchor, Navy number 792. The entire gun has been polished and refinished in a high gloss blue finish losing most of the left side barrel markings. Commercial style black composite grips have replaced the originals. Still retains lanyard ring. CONDITION: Revolver retains 98% of the refinished blue finish. Nice clean bore with fine action. (B) 1909 .455 Canadian NWMP Stamped Revolver. Originally shipped to Canada in commercial blue finish in caliber .455 Eley with wood grips. Canadian proofs on left side of frame and on each cylinder. NWMP engraved on back-strap with number 626. Gun was exported and re-chambered to .45 Colt upon which time matte finish was applied and replaced brown plastic grips. CONDITION: Fine bore and action. 85% refinish still intact. (C) U.S. Colt 1917 Army New Service. This is an all original Model 1917 with brushed blue military finish, caliber is .45 ACP, 5 - 1/2" barrel, lanyard ring and two piece walnut grips. Butt is stamped US ARMY Model 1917. Eagle head stamp on left side of frame at barrel. Bottom of the barrel is stamped US Property. CONDITION: Straps are gray and there is high edge wear but still retains at least 85% factory finish with excellent grips, bore and action.
