Standard configuration P.08 Luger manufactured by DWM in 1912 under contract for the Imperial German military. Major metal components are blued, with some smaller components being strawed and nitre blued. The receiver is stamped "1912" over the chamber, with arsenal proofs present on the right hand side. Imperial German Reichsadler is present on the right side of the receiver, top of the barrel, and left side of the breechblock. All numbers are matching, with the exception of the magazine. Complete with a contemporary black leather holster and unmarked spare magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original arsenal rust blue finish, exhibiting varying degrees of heavy oxidation all around. Strawed components retain some of their original finish, with most components being in-the-white. Bore is bright, exhibiting some oxidation towards the muzzle and otherwise retaining well defined rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show some smoothing to the diamonds and some scattered impressions, with the left panel bearing a couple of losses. Holster shows some scattered handling marks and creasing, but is otherwise fine.
