Marlin Model 1893 takedown lever action rifle with 26" octagon barrel chambered in .30-30 Winchester, Marbles front and rear sights, complete with Lyman tang sight. 2-piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with blued forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with almost all of the original bluing remaining on magazine tube and barrel with some high edge wear and storage and handling marks throughout. Receiver has faded to a gray patina with a spot where heavy corrosion occurred near takedown lever and an attempt was made to clean this off. Stocks are good as refinished with numerous dents, dings, and gouges throughout and heavy gouging on left side of stock near buttplate. Comb has been custom inletted to accommodate tang sight when folded down. Buttplate does not fit well. Action works correctly and locks tightly.
