Lot consists of five Japanese Type 38 and Type 99 bolt action long rifles and short rifles. (A) Type 99 "Last Ditch" receiver manufactured by Jinsen Arsenal in Korea. Mum has been obliterated. Matching numbers include the bolt and receiver, extractor serial number not legible. Wood buttplate. Complete with reproduction sling. CONDITION: Metal components show corrosion all around. Stock shows handling marks and chipping. Bright bore with good rifling. (B) Type 99 series 23 receiver manufactured by Kokura. Mum is present. Receiver and bayonet stud band match, bolt does not match receiver but matches itself. Complete with cleaning rod, aircraft sights, reproduction dust cover, monopod, and sling. Bright bore with good rifling. CONDITION: (B) Metal components show pitting and corrosion all around. Stock shows handling marks. (C) Type 99 series 32 receiver manufactured by Toyo Kogyo. Mum is present. Matching numbers include receiver and bolt. Complete with cleaning rod, aircraft sights, reproduction dust cover, monopod, and sling. CONDITION: Metal components show areas of corrosion. Stock shows scattered handling marks. Bright bore with good rifling. (D) Type 38 series 24 receiver manufactured by Kokura. Mum has been obliterated. Bolt matches receiver, dust cover is mismatched. Bolt is in the white. Complete with cleaning rod and reproduction sling. CONDITION: Metal components show small spots of corrosion. Wood shows scattered handling marks. Bright bore with good rifling. (E) Type 99 series 35 receiver manufactured by Toyo Kogyo. Mum has been obliterated Bolt does not match receiver, but matches itself. Rifle has been bored out to fire .308 Winchester ammunition. Bayonet stud band has sharp corners. Complete with reproduction dust cover, monopod, and sling. CONDITION: Metal components show little wear. Stock shows scattered handling marks. Bore is lightly frosted, but shows good rifling.
