Cased trio of Browning Renaissance hand-engraved pistols in factory vine and floral with deep chisel engraving. All three pistols appear to have been engraved by the same hand but a detailed examination of the engraving does not find a signature present. All guns are Belgian proofed. T series Hi-Power has the ring hammer, fixed front sight, drift adjustable U notch rear sight. Browning Model 1910 in .380 ACP with fixed sights. Baby Browning in .25 ACP with fixed sights. All pistols have grey-silver finish, synthetic pearl grips, and gold washed triggers. Housed in the black vinyl case with red liner and vacant brass plaque on lid. CONDITION: Very good. Hi-Power shows some evidence of use, with some darkening of the finish on stirrup cut. Cocking serrations have some old oxidation spotting, which is also on the extractor. Gold wash on trigger lifting in a few areas. Action works appropriately, bore is very good with strong rifling. Engraving is crisp. 1910 shows much lighter evidence of use with crisp engraving throughout but no noticeable darkening. Some old oxidation spotting in the cocking serrations and on muzzle. Some spots of darkness near trigger guard. Action works appropriately, bore with strong rifling and some frosting. 1905 very good with just a few minor marks but no significant areas of darkening to silver finish. Matte rib has a few bumps. Action works appropriately but firing pin is stuck forward and needs to be addressed, bore is very good with sharp rifling and some frosting. Case is very good with a few markings at the corners and some pressure marks on the inside of the lining where guns have sat. An attractive set.
