Lot consists of (A) Marlin Model 27, caliber .32-20 Winchester. Pump rifle with 2 piece American walnut stocks with steel buttplate. Serial number 1164 found under butt plate. Upper receiver number are non-matching to butt assembly. Blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, octagon barrel. CONDITION: Fair as found with receiver having been refinished long ago. Bore is very fine. Action operates with difficulty. (B) Marlin Model 27-S, caliber .25-20. Pump rifle. Serial number 14599 found under butt plate. Matching receiver numbers. Octagon barrel with Beech front sight and adjustable rear sight. Walnut stock with crescent butt. CONDITION Good with over 50% of the original finish remaining balance turning plum. Wood stocks are good as refinished. Bore is good with very light frosting in grooves.
