1939 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 356834. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .357 Magnum with single line Colt Hartford, CT address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. 1 piece factory ivory grips. Comes in black leather-bound fitted wood reproduction case with maroon velvet interior. Accompanied by a Colt factory letter indicating that no records outside of confirming .357 Magnum caliber was available. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retaining virtually all of its original bluing with a few scattered light handling marks. Factory file mark blemish near ejector rod housing underneath bluing. Frame retains bright case colors throughout. 1 piece grips are excellent plus with no major signs of distress. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Case is excellent plus. A high condition example with a very cool reproduction case ready for display.
