1968 Vintage Colt Python double action revolver, serial number 82123. 6" ventilated rib barrel. Chambered in .357 Magnum cartridge. 2-piece checkered walnut grips with Colt gold medallions. Custom hand engraved in approximately D-coverage. Well executed engraving features foliate scrollwork with stippled backgrounds. Gold line work around cylinder flutes. Gold inlay "PYTHON 357/ 357 MAGNUM CTG." on left side of barrel. Gold inlay "COLT'S PTFA MFG Co HARTFORD CT USA" on right side of barrel. High relief gold inlaid Rampant Colt motif on left side of frame. Date of engraving and name of engraver currently unknown. CONDITION: Excellent overall with virtually all the refinished blue remaining. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is bright and clean.
