P'00/06 Luger manufactured by and delivered in 1914 by DWM as part of an order of 700 parts sets that were to Waffenfabrik Bern, where they were then assembled. This order of 700 P'00/06 parts sets from Waffenfabrik Bern was the final order of Lugers from DWM due to the outbreak of World War I, which terminated DWM contract deliveries to Switzerland. This example bears the Swiss Federal Coat of Arms (Cross within a shield) over the chamber, with 2 cross over "M" within an oval acceptance inspection markings, indicating inspection by General Muhlemann on the left hand side. Forward toggle link bears the DWM monogram. All numbers are matching in the appropriate "hidden" commercial fashion, with the hold-open, firing pin, safety lever, grips, and magazine being unnumbered. Major metal components are blued, with some smaller components being strawed and nitre blued. Magazine retains a proper Swiss wood bottom with discs. Grips are ensuite, showing some extremely light smoothing overall. Holster shows some wear and darkening from use and age, but is otherwise fine. Shoulder strap shows age-related cracking overall.
