Manufactured under contract by DWM for the German military. This gun only comes with a snail drum magazine. It has "DWM" on the front toggle link and is marked 1918 over the chamber. It is an all matching numbers gun except the magazine. The grip panels are unnumbered. Second model Snail drum magazine was manufactured by Bing. They were a tin toy manufacturer during World War I. CONDITION: The straw small parts have been cold blued. This gun has approximately 40% of the original rust blue finish with the remainder turning an even brown patina. Grips show normal wear. There is no chips or cracks in the grips. Bore has pitting in the lands and grooves. The magazine has a few scattered dings and dents. It retains approximately 80% of the original blue finish with a little bit of cold blue added to the finish.
