1920 vintage Colt Single Action Army, serial number 339246. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt with single line Colt Hartford, CT barrel address with blade front sight and frame notch rear. 2-piece checkered Colt gutta percha grips featuring a Rampant Colt on either side in an oval. CONDITION: Excellent overall with a vast majority of the original bluing remaining on barrel and cylinder with age-related scattered pitting and handling marks throughout. Frame has faded to a dull grey with faint traces of original bluing remaining. Grips are well worn and were broken and repaired at one point near center hole and are slightly bulged out because of this. Chipping of grip near butt, especially on left grip panel. Grips are slightly shy on forestrap and right grip panel is proud at bottom. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling.
