A very early 12 bore side by side boxlock shotgun. Mono-block Belgium barrels are 30" with extractors, flat top matted rib, and copper bead front sight. Rib is marked "FINE DAMASCUS FINISH". The top of each barrel is marked "CHOKE BORED". Chokes are Tight Modified and Tight Modified. The silver grey toned finished boxlock action has double triggers with a long bottom trigger guard tang and automatic safety. Checkered straight-grip stock of straight-grained walnut, gold oval, and horn buttplate. Checkered splinter forend with snap release and escutcheon. CONDITION: Fair, as partially redone. Barrels show 65% bluing with spotting and slightly lose on face. Decent bores with some interior spotting and exterior handling marks. Refinished stock shows evidence of repair and handling marks.
