Having conquered the world during the 1960s by producing millions of ‘step-thru’ mopeds based on it original C100 Super Cub of 1958, Honda greatly expanded its range of this type of machine during the 1970s, offering a bewildering variety of models catering for every taste. Built initially with an overhead-camshaft engine but subsequently with an ohv type, the PC50 arrived in 1969. A simple to use, ‘twist-’n-go’ model with single gear and automatic clutch, the economical PC50 was soon almost as common a sight on UK streets as the ubiquitous C100. Finished in red/white, this example comes complete with matching panniers and is offered with Swansea V5.
