Small 8°, engraved title and 4 folding engraved plates (lower outer margin of title shaved with loss of last number of date, 2 plates very lightly waterstained, a few opccasional spots), contemporary vellum (spine soiled), stamp of T. Schrire, Cape Town on endpapers. LEUSDEN, Johannes. Philologus Hebraeo-mixtus, una cum spicilegio philologico , Utrecht: Franciscus Halma, 1682. Small 4°, 8 engraved plates and one illustration, small woodcut vignette on title, woodcut initials (lacking engraved title, occasional light waterstaining, lightly browned throughout), contemporary vellum, manuscript title on spine (front hinge broken but cords firmly holding, soiled), stamp of T. Schrire, Cape Town on endpapers. Second edition. With Friedrich Albert Christian's Der Juden Glaube und Aberglaube (Leipzig, 1705) and 2 editions of Leon Modena's Kerk-Zeeden en de Gewoonten (Amsterdam, 1725 and 1744). (5)
