Ottawa: Department of the Interior—North West Territories and Yukon Branch, [c.1927]. An early Department of the Interior report on an expedition through the newly acquired lands of Arctic Canada, with 95 original mounted photographs. Written by Major L. T. Burwash, a mining engineer who later became involved in the search for Franklin’s missing ships. No copies recorded at auction. Cf. Arctic Bib. 2743. Quarto (253 x 201mm). Mimeographed typescript. 95 mounted photographs, 8 plates of maps and charts (plates not bound according to contents page). Contemporary green cloth.
