(8 7/8 x 5 5/8in.), dark green crushed levant morocco gilt, a blindstamped thistle ornament at corners of covers and in the spine compartments, board edges and turn-ins gilt, green watered silk linings, t.e.g., others UNCUT, by Zaehnsdorf, spine faded, joints slightly dry, I2 torn and repaired, small marginal closed tear in Z2, small marginal patch on final leaf. Second (first Edinburgh) edition, First Issue with "Boxburgh" on p. xxxvii and "stinking" on p. 263, containing 27 pieces published here for the first time, half-title, engraved portrait by Beuge after Nasmyth. Rothschild 556. Bookplate of E. Hubert Litchfield.
