Views of landscapes, villages, cities, monasteries and pagodas. 1880s - 1900. 19 albumen prints. Various sizes, most circa 20 x 27 cm. 14 mounted to board (soiled) . The images show a festive procession on the main street of Mandalay, Lord and Lady Elgin in Rangoon (1898), the British Rangoon golf club, the Mingun Pagoda and Bell. – Some handling marks/surface scuff marks, some repaired tears, some faded, some with traces of previous mounting on verso, otherwise several in good to very good condition.
