Original vellum over boards tooled to a Buckland-Wright design by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, with original slipcase and sleeve. 11 3/8 inches (28 cm), top edge gilt. 12 ff., text in French, illustrated with collotype reproductions after wash drawings by Buckland Wright, as prepared for the 1956 Golden Cockerel edition. The Golden Cockerel Press sold only 27 copies made up from the original 50 sheets; the balance were issued by Mary Buckland-Wright in the present form in 1971.
