The volume was printed in an edition of 150 copies, subsidised by Brown, and copies went to the 58 artists, writers and publishers listed on the 'Free Copies' page, who included--in addition to Bynner--John Dos Passos, Djuna Barnes, Marcel Duchamp Ezra Pound, Ernest Hemingway, William Carlos Williams, e.e. cummings, Man Ray, and James Joyce.
