Small hole to center removing one letter, large faded water-stain to lower portion. *********************************** Scarce and apparently unrecorded broadside warning of an outbreak of the plague. The announcement informs the public of the outbreak which has resulted in the deaths of "3 or 4" people. The plague would ravage Europe over the course of several centuries, and the Italian Plague (1629-31, shortly after this broadside notice) caused the deaths of as many as one million people in northern and central Italy.
