Cruciform spike base with two brass and two replaced steel round washers. Front plate with crowned lion and "THE ROYAL DRAGOONS". No visible manufacturer's markings. Condition: Appears to be of composite construction with some mismatched pieces and variable color. Liner shows some darkening from age and use. Liner cloth shows some detaching. Some evidence of cleaning and polishing. Some repair of stitching on chinstrap with sections of detachment from lining.
