Condition: This rifle has been used well with nipple worn to a nub and the bore is fair with rifling worn about half way down. The metal shows a dark patina with good markings and edges. The wood has been lightly refinished and the fore end cap is horn and has been broken with edges rounded off. The rib has been re-soldered and the ramrod is a replacement. An early and big rifle they may have started in India and ended up in South African collection.
