27" curved blade, with blue and gilt floral designs and military motifs. Solid brass handle with eagle pommel "P"-shaped guard. Leather scabbard with brass throat; the tip is missing. Condition: Blade displays a dirty look with lots of the iridescent blue and much of the gilt remains. Overall a very good example of this early military sword. Circa 1810-1830.
