Several small holes to margins of last few maps.) Contemporary sheep backed boards (worn). An unusual edition adapted by Joan II Blaeu from Blaeu senior's Netherlands townbooks and covering the towns and geography of Flanders. Joan II Blaeu took over the remnants of the Blaeu publishing house on the death of his father in 1673. Most of the stock (plates etc.) were sold off. The maps are attractively coloured and include town plans of Bruges, Ghent, as well as regional map of Flanders.
