Philadelphia: after 1806. Engraving (255 x 350 mm). Inset view titled “The Bridge as it appears now Covered.” Condition : light dampstaining in the right and lower margins. Provenance : Martin P. Snyder. The third state of the print, with the plate trimmed down, the foreground entirely re-engraved and the inset and title moved into the image. Although on unwatermarked paper, it is of a thicker quality than that used by McAllister for his mid-19th century restrike (the fourth state and otherwise identical to this one).
