With their Lives and Characters, new edition, printed for William Baynes, 1813, 108 copper engraved plates, circular library blindstamp of Leeds Public Library to upper outer corner of title page and each plate, some light offsetting from plates to facing text leaf, occasional minor marginal spotting, endpapers renewed, all edges gilt, fine contemporary straight grained red full morocco, skilfully rebacked with original spine laid down, several small surface marks, spine with gilt volute decorated low raised bands, gilt lettered direct in second compartment, remainder with lozenge tool surrounded by gilt rules, volute cornerpieces, sides panelled, with a wide gilt palmette and tulip roll, and a lozenge and volute roll, with blind rolls between, gilt rope roll on edges, leaf and tendril roll on turn-ins, large folio.
