Bifolium from a large copy of Mishlei (Proverbs of Solomon), in Hebrew, manuscript on parchment [Italy, late thirteenth or early fourteenth century] Bifolium, each leaf with double column (each verse is divided into two parts instead of the etnachta), 22 lines in a professional square Ashkenazi hand, with nikkud and te'amim, large erasure in bas-de-page of one leaf, some holes from reuse in later binding, and reverse of leaves with much of writing scuffed away (but still mostly legible) and some early Italian notes dated 1621, overall fair and presentable condition, each leaf approximately 304 by 240 mm.
