The series was edited by Avraham Leib Shalkovitz ("Ben Avigdor", 1867-1921), a Jewish author, writer of children's books and editor, and a pioneer publisher of Modern Hebrew literature in Eastern Europe. One of the founders of the "Achiassaf" publishing house, in 1896 he founded the "Tushia" publishing house that published hundreds of books for Hebrew readers. Ownership inscription and ink stamps of Dr. Shmuel Rappaport of Vienna appear in one of the volumes. 18cm. Most volumes are in good to very good condition.
