Original edition of this selection of books with prices, by the bookseller Los Rios (1727-1820). It contains detailed entries, plus a supplement with a list of other books. Los Rios began his career in Paris and then in Italy, and visited England and the Low Countries before settling in Lyon in where he specialised in Spanish and Italian books from the Jesuit libraries of Lyon (bought in 1768), Tournon, Mâcon, etc. and from private libraries. Title within border of type ornaments. The portrait of Los Rios, found in some copies, is not present. Ref.
