Four full-page woodcuts of the Evangelists, wood-cut headpieces and initials at beginning of each Gospel, printed in red and black, paginated in Cyrillic alphabetic numerals, Cyrillic signatures. (Lacks ff.1 (title-page), 2, 4 and 10 from first gathering, without blank leaves M2 and SS1 not included in pagination, some tears, mostly repaired, some with manuscript transcriptions, some leaves soiled and dampstained.) Later velvet over wooden boards, upper cover with shaped oval gilt-metal centrepiece of the Crucifixion with cornerpieces of the Evangelists, the lower cover with centrepiece engraved with inscription dated 1664, both covers with brass borders (slightly worn, lacks clasps)
