Bernard, Richard; late Rector of Batcombe, Thesaurus Biblicus seu Promptuarium Sacrum, imprinted at London by Felix Kingston for Andrew Crooke at the signe (sic) of the Green Dragon in Paules Church -Yard, 1644, a loose leaf on the interior inscribed in ink 'The Births of the children of John & Hannah Hurry's...., leather bound; A Comprehensive Grammar of the English Tongue - The Royal English Dictionary, inscribed in ink 'John Hurrys Book 1792' and further inscribed in ink 'John Hurry, His Book 1777, was born April 28 - 1745, Begun to sing in 1776 & has kept it ever since & so means to remain forever & ever Amen', leather bound; and a Cassell's illustrated family bible. 1860, with numerous ink inscriptions in the family register for the Powell Family of Whitechapel, leather bound with marbled boards and decorative gilt spine
