Good copy.
23 parts in 1st edition of this profusely illustrated topographical work. Engr. ills : 23 title-vign., 12 ills in text , 1 (of 7) full-page and 24 double-page or folding pl. by L. Vorsterman showing abbeys, monasteries, convents, Marian devotional places, including Affligem, Brussels, Antwerp, Louvain, Averbode, Grimbergen, Villers, etc.; numerous tailpcs. Engr. portrait of Sanderus loosely inserted. The stock of a 2nd vol. was completely destroyed during the bombardment of Brussels in 1695, only 5 or 6 copies survived. Title in red & black.
