First edition, large quarto, author frontispiece portrait, text in Hebrew and English in parallel columns; bound in full ornately gilt contemporary red morocco, a presentation binding to the King of Denmark, ex libris the author or a member of the author's family, with bookplate pasted inside the front board, depicting a tall man in a top hat in a gallery or museum holding a book, with the legend, "A Page of R.A. Belais"; decased, frontispiece and title badly chipped with signficant marginal losses, sewing perished, 11 x 8 1/2 in.
