William Murphy was appointed graphic designer in charge of print and publicity at RTÉ in 1966. He has travelled through Spain, Morocco and made several journeys on the Trans-Siberian Railway, learning... g Russian and drawing. In 1986 he retired from RTÉ to paint full time and study Russian and History of Art at Trinity College Dublin. He has exhibited on numerous occasions at the RHA and Oireachtas exhibitions among many others. more
