A collection of 9 Fortnum & Mason illustrated trade catalogues, 1950s, including Christmas 1955-56 & 58-[59], plus The Delectable History of Fortnum & Mason [1957], plus 3 'Invitation to Indulgence' [1958-59], 'Easter Will Be Here Before You Can Say Eggs', [1959], numerous colour illustrations, original wrappers, one or two small marks else in fine condition, 4to & 8vo, plus others including Edward Bawden An Exhibition of Watercolours, Prints and Book-illustrations 11th-30th June 1984, at Spelman's Bookshop, York, limited edition 330/600, Edward Bawden The Art of Design, exhibition catalogue, Kent Institute of Art & Design, Canterbury College, 1988, Edward Bawden Retrospective Exhibition, The Fine Art Society, 4-29 September 1989, Edward Bawden A Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving, St. James's Church, Piccadilly, London, Thursday 4 January 1990, plus other illustrators including a wood-engraved Christmas card by Joan Hassall 'The Cowslip Ball', titled and signed in pencil by the artist, inscribed in ink to verso 'This is the work of my friend Joan Hassall one of our best known wood-engravers & sister of Christopher Hassall. I asked her to autograph it for you' , and 10 issues of The Mi-Dox Message, 1967-68, illustrated by Betty Swanwick (Quantity: approximately 40)
