The anonymous British artist first announced his intention to purchase a migrant rescue boat this past fall, and ended up acquiring a former French Navy vessel, named Louise Michel after the French feminist anarchist, using proceeds from recent sales of artworks about the migrant crisis, Banksys crew sail the seas assisting and rescuing people of desperation fleeing from trouble ABOUT the Exhibition How GoMA brought Banksy to Glasgow - and kept it top secret Two-and-a-half years in the making, the news that Banksy had chosen to Glasgow, and GoMA, as the location to stage the new show, CUT & RUN, was only known to a select few people. Glasgow's GoMA, where for the first time stencils used by street artist Banksy to create many of the artist's works, will be displayed in his new exhibition, 'Cut & Run’. The show includes authentic artefacts, ephemera and the artist's actual toilet and will run for three months and open all night at weekends.
