This letter provides a detailed account of autopsies Dr. Power performed on various patients in 1843. He goes into graphic detail as to the condition of organs, and various stages of decay, and how rapidly they have occurred. This is by far one of the earliest in-depth essay on early autopsies we have encountered. Condition: Typical folds and minor toning of the paper.
