A large archive of glass plate and film negatives of civil and military aviation interest, largely WWII period, including over 500 glass plate negatives (mostly vintage photographs of WWII bomber and fighter aircraft), 12 x 16 cm and smaller, organised by name in manila envelopes, together with a quantity of approximately 600 alphabetised medium format negatives of aircraft similarly arranged, 12.5 x 12.5 cm, plus a large collection of further film negatives of various sizes and dates, contained in 12 small boxes From the aviation collection of Philip Moyes. Copyright for these negatives is not automatically assigned to the purchaser of this lot. While the majority of negatives do not credit the mostly unknown photographers, copyright ownership by the purchaser cannot be assumed. It is believed that many of the glass plate negatives may still be unpublished. (3 cartons)
