It's an interesting story you told me. This song is one in which I wrote I wrote the music first and happened to see the words 'Blue Orchids" in some magazine and decided it would make the song. It was a most difficult lyric to write but I believe I achieved something pretty good", one page, minor creasing and folding marks, light discolouration to left margin, 4to, n.p., 8 November 1978.
