Included with 1707 (18 September) indenture for the lease of land in Longhoughton, Northumberland to Edward Adams for 21 years with a rent of £5 and a fine of £20. Signed by the Duke and Duchess of Somerset and with clear wax seals and further signed "Geo: Thornton". Witnessed and signed on reverse by "Wm. Coles" and "Geo: Thornton". Rather soiled.
