Gianni Poggi (Piacenza 1921 - Piacenza 1989) He first studied in Bologna with the soprano Valeria Manna and later in Milan with baritone Emilio Ghirardini, making his debut in Nabucco at Teatro Massimo of Palermo in 1947.
