(12½x8"). The longtime governor of Connecticut writes to the two delegates from Connecticut to the United States Congress, Oliver Wolcott and Richard Law, requesting that Congress compensate Connecticut for "Expenses incurred by this state in its necessary internal Defense..." The final battles of the Revolution were over, but the threat of Britain still lurked Lot Amendments Condition: Expertly silked, a little darkening along fore-edge, very good. Item number: 206383
