Title: Autograph Document, signed by Napoleon Louis Bonaparte (Napoleon III) Author: Napoleon Louis Bonaparte (Napoleon III) Place: Paris Publisher: Date: January 13, 1841 Description: 1-page handwritten document and/or letter, with 5-line inscription clearly signed by Napoleon Louis Bonaparte (Napoleon III), in his hand, discussing some sort of payment of a hundred million francs for Xavier Jannest, who's name is also rubberstamped below Napolean's signature. Plus two other short inscriptions by two other people, with one being a notarization by a Monsieur Noël and the other signature is difficult to determine. Also, small embossed stamp lettered "Bath" on the upper left portion. Folded sheet, 8x5¼". Napolean III (1808-1873) served as President from 1848 to 1852 of the Second Republic of France and continued as Emperor from 1852 to 1870, reigning as Napoleon III (of the Second French Empire). Lot Amendments Condition: Original vertical and horizontal folds, mild soiling, else near fine. Item number: 158466
