A collection of letters and documents, the signatories including: NAPOLEON I (initial 'N', approving a report by Clarke, Duc de Feltre, on the creation of a company of Spanish veterans, Dresden, 16 June 1813; and three documents with secretarial signatures of Napoleon), Geraud DUROC (c.1800, communicating Napoleon's agreement to sitting for a portrait painter and a sculptor, though the First Consul insists on the two artists working simultaneously, without bothering him, during his lunch), Jacques-Louis DAVID (document signed as administrator of the police department, 15 September 1793, an arrest warrant), Eugène de Beauharnais (20 October 1808, enclosing a table of artillery forces), Louis Bonaparte (12 February 1805), Jerome Bonaparte (two, 23 April 1812 and 12 October 1813, the latter giving orders four days before the battle of Leipzig), Talleyrand (1819), marshals and generals including Macdonald (2), Lebrun (as duc de Plaisance), Suchet and Lecourbe, and others including Belleville, St Just (cut signature), Carnot, Tallien, Bailly (2), Paul Barras, and 6 others, one of them a letter addressed to Letitia Bonaparte; and a brief compendium of revolutionary songs, [1790s] including 'La suppression de couvant [sic]' 'Chanson nouvelle sur les victoire[s] éclatante[s] remportées par l'armée d'Italie' and others, 8 leaves, 8vo , in a loose gathering, approximately 30 items in total.
