Beide Werke sind reich illustriert, ein Teil der Kupfer wird von Wüthrich M. Merian zugeschrieben (ohne genauere Angaben). Die Bogensignaturen mit doppelten Großbuchstaben (AA, BB etc.) deuten darauf hin, das (IV) beigedruckt ist. - III. "A most curious work on Divination, whether by Geomancy, Urine, Chiromancy, or Physiognomy, it is all detailed at great length with many cuts" (Gardner). - IV. "He was the first to support Harvey's 'De motu cordis' in print... The 'Pulsus' includes Fludd's first defense of Harvey" (DSB V, 47 f.). Das große Faltblatt („Medicamentosum Apollinis Oraculum“) am Schluss des Werkes fehlt in vielen Exemplaren. - Fehlt die Kupfertafel in (III); das eingefaltete Bl. g1 (S. 59/50) mit schmalem hinterlegtem Ausschnitt, dadurch etwas Bildverlust.
