De civitate : Gothic types, full-page woodcut on A1v depicting St. Augustine and the two cities of God and Satan, 9-line initial space opening text, smaller initial spaces with guide-letters, publisher's device at end. De trinitate : Gothic types, some Greek. 2- to 6-line initial spaces with printed guide-letter. (Some dampstaining and soiling, mostly marginal, wormholes at front and back, an occasional light stain.) Contemporary Paris blind-tooled calf over bevelled wooden boards by Hemon Lefevre, St. Sebastian panel at centre [Gid/Laffitte 199] (worn, small wormholes).
