A MAGNIFICENT COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION of the greatest early illustrated monograph on monkeys, bound by one of the finest French binders of the period. It is Audebert's first individual publication, and he here employed his colour-printing process for the first time. 'Bozerian, relieur à Paris' is one of the 63 names on the subscribers' list.
