Attributed to Henry Williams (1787-1830) A Lady, believed to be Mrs. Putman Grosvenor, facing left in cream-coloured dress with white fichu, wearing a white turban rectangular frame oval,3 3/8in. (86mm.) high; a young Lady, in black dress, cameo pin at corsage, her fair hair in ringlets and holding a feather in her left hand (American School, circa 1840) in gold-cased frame with chased and engraved border, the reverse engraved oval, 3¼in. (82mm.) high; a young Gentleman, facing right in dark grey coat with black velvet collar, black waistcoat; sky background (American School, 1815) rectangular frame oval, 2½in. (63mm.) high; and a young Lady, believed to be Sarah Ten Broeck Webster, in profile to left, in orange dress with ruffled neckline, gold earring, her hair upswept ( John Wesley Jarvis ) on card, signed, inscribed and dated 'Jarvis N o 122 Broadway July 1807', in rectangular hammered brass frame oval, 3½in.
