Musical train with pin-barrel and eight stacked steel blades, scratch numbered “507” on the movement ring Dial: small eccentric gold, engine turned and engraved, Breguet numerals, the centre engraved with a rosette, dial plate finely painted enamel with a scene of a flower garden around a classical building, applied varicoloured gold chased automaton scene of a seated gentleman playing the mandolin and a seated lady playing the lyre, to the side two birds in an arbour, one moving towards the other with the music Case: three-part, polished with reeded band, under the back cover a finely painted enamel erotic automaton scene of a monk and a nun standing in the interior of the church while a priest lectures them from the pulpit, the bible on the floor, 59 mm. diam.
