Dark varnish showing little under UV light.. Visible inpainted loses areound edges; mended crescent-shaped tear in canvas (roughly 5 inches long) around upper right corner. There is 3/4 inch extension of the orginal canvas running along the right margin, into which the smoker's left foot extends.
